Have an idea for a new product but unsure whether it will find its customers? Over six hands-on sessions, you’ll validate your business hypotheses, assess market demand, test your solution, and develop a launch plan using modern AI tools.
One of the biggest mistakes entrepreneurs make when starting a business is investing time and money in a product before finding out whether the market actually needs it. They spend months developing features and preparing for launch, only to discover that customers aren't willing to pay for what they've built.
How can you avoid this? Where can you find your first customers, how do you identify their needs, and how can you determine whether your idea has real potential?
These are the questions we'll explore in KSE Business School's new course, «Entrepreneurship of the Future: from idea to launch». Throughout the course, you'll work through every stage of building a business, from defining the problem and researching your target audience to testing your product and bringing it to market.
This course is for you If:
● You have a business idea but don't know where to start. You want to understand how to validate its potential and turn your concept into concrete action.● You're unsure whether there's a market for your product. You want to identify your target audience, understand customer needs, and find out whether people are willing to pay for your solution.● You don't want to waste months and money on an idea that might not work. You're looking for a way to test demand quickly and build your first prototype without significant investment.● You're planning to launch a new product or business line within your company. You want a systematic approach to testing business hypotheses and making decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions.● You're developing a project in the cultural or social sector. You want to better understand your audience, validate the value of your idea, and find a viable model for bringing it to life.
From business idea to real-world testing
Throughout the course, you'll work on your own business idea. Across six sessions, you'll apply Lean and Agile methodologies to systematically test your assumptions, analyze results, and make decisions based on real-world evidence rather than intuition.
During the course, you will:
● Research your customers and validate the problem. Develop two customer personas, design a survey, and conduct at least three interviews with real potential customers to gain a deeper understanding of their needs.● Test market demand before committing to full-scale development. Build a landing page presenting your value proposition, test it with potential customers, and analyze the results.● Build and test your first prototype. Identify the minimum set of features your product needs, develop an initial version using AI, and conduct three testing sessions with external users.● Prepare a launch plan. Develop a two-week marketing campaign, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare a pitch for potential customers, partners, or investors.● Each session will build on the results of the previous one. By the end of the course, you'll have concrete findings from testing your own business idea.
The course will be taught by Adam Schultz — CEO of Verified Studios and Mindr, entrepreneur, startup founder, and mentor at KSE Startup Ecosystem. His entrepreneurial experience will provide a practical foundation for your work on developing and validating your own business ideas.
AI will help you move from idea to execution faster
Throughout the course, you’ll work with Claude, an AI tool that will help you conduct market research, analyze information, simulate customer interviews, and develop early versions of your product. This will enable you to move more quickly from initial ideas to practical solutions.
For a smoother learning experience and access to more of Claude’s capabilities, we recommend having a paid subscription. It will be particularly useful during the Product MVP and Launch and Measurement sessions.
You can also use the free version, but its usage limits and available features may restrict your ability to complete certain hands-on assignments.
